Our Founder — Martin Mendoza

Born and raised in Guadalajara, Mexico, Martin Mendoza was brought up by his single mother, Ramona Vidriales, whose love for ranch life and connection to the earth shaped his path from a very young age. Ramona spent her days cooking nourishing meals made from fresh, farm-grown ingredients, feeding not just her family but her community as well.

That grounding upbringing inspired Martin to carry those values forward. Today, he is a farmer, private chef, and entrepreneur, passionate about sustainable living, animal care, and quality organic products. Through his work, Martin shares his love for the farm and farm-to-table food, creating meaningful experiences rooted in authenticity, freshness, and care.

Our Partner — Rehana Peiris

Rehana Peiris brings a powerful balance to Reckless Love through her background in psychology, wellness coaching, and her deep love for animals. She believes in the healing connection between humans and animals and helps transform rescued animals into emotional support companions.

Together, Rehana and Martin create experiences that go beyond food—offering petting zoo visits, wellness coaching, and emotional processing sessions where clients connect with animals in a safe, grounding environment. These interactions encourage presence, healing, and self-awareness as people reconnect with themselves through nature and animals.

The name Reckless Love is inspired by the worship song that speaks to second chances, redemption, and unconditional love—values at the heart of everything we do. Just as the song reflects grace without limits, Reckless Love is about giving animals a second chance, nurturing people, and creating spaces where healing, nourishment, and connection can thrive.
